Public Emergency Alert Test

A routine test of the Alert Ready system will take place Wednesday, November 19, in Ontario at 12:55 pm EDT. The test message will be broadcast on television, radio, and compatible wireless devices.
Alert Ready is Canada’s emergency alerting system, designed to deliver critical and potentially life-saving alerts to Canadians.
Alerts may be issued for a range of urgent situations. When an alert is received, it is essential to stop, listen carefully, and follow the instructions provided. Doing so could save your life or the lives of others.
For more information about Alert Ready and the types of alerts that may be issued in the case of emergency, visit www.alertready.ca.
